You wouldn't suck. Everyone's got to start somewhere, right? As long as you get into the spirit of the game and have fun, that's what matters. It's one of the wonderful things about RPGs. There are no winners and losers; just fantastic adventures to be had!
The Labyrinth Lord rulebook is 140 pages, but you don't need to know very much of the rules; as the referee, I'd handle most of the complicated stuff. The most you'd need to know about is making a character, and that's a process I'm happy to guide anyone who wants to join through should they so desire.
So, in short, don't stress out Fiction! If you'd like to join, we'd love to have you!
