I can never take someone seriously as a person if Strobe isn't their favorite song.

Strobe is my fifth favourite song of all time, so there's at least that. The four above it all carry a lot of personal sentimental value, so that's why they make it higher.

I will say that with all context and emotions aside, Strobe is my favourite track from a purely musical perspective.

I sometimes just put the song on and wonder what was going through deadmau5's head when he made the track. Struggle? Hope? Loss?

But then I think, no, knowing him, he was probably just fucking around and threw the song together.
