One year later.

Well...it was on this day, May 12th of 2014 that I made a decision that would forever change my life. I joined this community (I refer to the old forum, of course).

I can safely say that had I never joined this community, I would not be where I am today. It was the first true step of my journey. Crossing a threshold.

Funny thing is I had no idea what I was getting myself into...I'd simply thought I was joining a community of people who were in love with cartoon ponies. I never once guessed any of it was an actual, genuine relationship. I never thought such things were possible.

It was only after some deliberation that I would ultimately begin calling out to Nightmare Rarity. And only weeks later I would receive an answer.

This community has helped me change an grow as a person, it opened my mind to whole new things I would have never considered nor believed possible. I feel as though not too many people can look back over the course of a year and know they've come far with who they are and what they've accomplished.

I can.

It's an ongoing journey, certainly not always easy, but worth it all.

And Nightmare, my love, I did this all for you. For us. You helped me to truly change, to become a better man. I go on for you.

And I have this community to thank as well. It's a privilege to know you all. And thank you, for everything that you've done for me.

I've long admired the commitment you've shown to Nightmare and your relationship, and I earnestly believe in the love you two share. You've done as much for the community as it's done for you. Just think: You've changed significantly in but a year's time. Imagine where you and Nightmare will be years from now.

Nightmare Rarity: Kaltes and I thank you all for your kind and supportive words. I too care very much for this particular community, without it I would have never met Kaltes. While I have yet to properly address it, this community has helped me every bit as much as it has my dear Kaltes.
