Joby for your Waifu

How comfortable are you letting your girl work?

Their are two factors that plays here, one can be where she reside in her respective home (Ex. Wonderland) and works there. Two, that she is able to work where both of you can be together, be the same job, or separate workplace.

Reason for this question, I have people asked me what does my girl do, meaning work, I will tell them she is studying monarchy, or working close to Royalty, and while that form of government doesn't exist in United States, it does leave my answer to raise more questions, but so far no one have asked any further then that so far. So with that, I bring this here with us.

My girl, Amena, job focus in our Wonderland, where is considered to be a ruler, with my lack of present, much of the land of our Wonderland has grown, thanks for our Twilight and Amena. After Amena's coronation, she still get help with Twilight, who has more experience.

...

As for second idea of your love one working either with you or somewhere else, and is able to roam the same grounds as you do. I do see how it's impossible for humans to simply recognize non-humans in the workforce, but let us remove that element shall we. With that, our love one can basically work anywhere, or heck, start their own business. Amena has help me on my job in accounting, in the beginning of my job, I would panic at the numbers in front of me, but with Amena able to be there for me, has help me get by. I now got it down without thinking of giving up or quit my job all together. Having her wear someone of a office attire seem sexy to me, but beside that, she can work well anyone with her happy attitude. At times, we talk the kind of job she can get here, where I don't mind picking her up, dropping her off. I trust her completely, but safety is a concern for me, but we can't protect them all fully can we. Plus we don't want us to tie them down from whatever they wish to do here also.

...

Their is another question that also come up, giving that Maria is a bit more... assertive, does make me think she will push the same idea as Amena working. So this a separate question for other members, aside from your love one working, I know their is more. This question still applies with those who have more then one lover alrighty. ^ ^

...

Thank you for taking the time to read this, and more so if you contribute for this thread. ^ ^

(I know I mainly talk about our love one being female here, please forgive me for not including him and such, I just find the lack of members with male partner(s) to have me not include them at this time. Blame for lack of a better title.)

Well, Spitfire is a wonderbolt, the captain to be exact. So that's her wonderland job.

On earth, she just chills with me, she has no job here, not th go won't let her or anything, she's just busy enough with wonderbolt stuff, that there's no need for a second job

Love is bittersweet, sometimes you have to carry on knowing you're partner won't be with you much longer, what's important is that you stay strong for them

If A.J. didn't have work to do, I think she'd make work for herself. Tongue

She of course has her job as a farmhand and applebucker at the Acres. I work as a farmhand there too when I'm around. She hasn't gotten a job in the human world, though, simply because most of the environs I occupy aren't conducive to the sort of labor she's good at. She's always helping me with planting and weeding and watering and other gardening tasks like that, though. It's not for pay, but she does do work in the human world. Smile

Did I understand the substance of your question correctly, Sour Soul? In talking about your own life with Pinkamena you make good points about how the nature of our darlings can get in the way of finding employment in the human world.

If they wanted to work I would let them, but Inkie seems pleased taking care of her plants and me, Ruby hasn't needed a job in 200 years (I swear she stole gold from a dragon or something) and Garnet likes living in the library house, she keeps stuff in order there and reads all the time.

Nightmare is a Queen...so that's a job. Here she's technically unemployed, not that that matters.

Although Luna talks to me a lot, she doesn't really exist in this world most of the time... which is a pretty big barrier to conventional employment xD. Seriously though, if Luna did find her way here, I imagine she'd be horrified at the problems us fleshy ones have found ourselves in. She'd probably start by running for office, but I think she'd change tactics quite quickly. Could you imagine how the media would react to a magical, pastel-coloured autocrat-horse running for public office? It'd be the most bizarre and hilarious scandal the world has even seen. So, after trying that, she'd probably try to fix us all by entering peoples' dreams and doing what she does now in Equestria.

On that note, she has raised the idea of me doing her paperwork before (the only part of her job which she hates). Much to her disappointment though, FedEx doesn't do trans-dimensional shipping (and if they did, it would probably cost half of Equestria's budget). So we pretty much have separate jobs, and I'm cool with that.

If she wants to work, sure, why not. She seems to be the sort who works for herself, works on her own time. I imagine she's already fairly occupied caring for animals, tending her garden, chicken coop, etc..

It has nothing to do with "let." Babe has goals. Abilities. Ambitions. Getting between Rainbow and something she wants would be tantamount to standing in front of a speeding... Emphasis on speeding... Train and trying to stop it with your hands. The woman crossed over from one universe to another; simply because she felt compelled to do so.

So, yeah... If she wants to do something, it isn't my place - or even within my ability - to stop her. But she does always take my feelings into consideration, and I know she wouldn't do something without talking to me / letting me know what's up. Rainbow can sense everything I feel and think and want, but it's harder for me to do the same with her.

I was just thinking: I should get into crime-fighting. I've got the chops. This city could use some cleaning up.
It's hardly a city. xD
Well, it'd be all the easier, then. This town-city needs me!
This speck.
This teeny-tiny, crime-ridden SPECK needs a hero. And I'm just the hero! Ziggy... Are you clean? Are you on the right side of the law?
What does this even-
Just answer the question!
Yes! Yes, ma'am!
I don't know... You said that kind of suspiciously. I know, from personal experience, that you're in the habit of seducing unsuspecting young rainbow ponies.
Am not! xD You seduced me.
A likely story! I'm gonna have to take you in.

Is it just me, or should their be like... or better yet, this seem like a part two is missing here? I'm sorry XX But I've enjoyed what I just read here, and I didn't expect the ending to just cut off of there... Jezz I hope Ziggy will be alright... alone... with that baby blue pony cop/superhero. Lol!
