City wide blackout.

Do you think tulpas can effect the physical world? This isn't waifu related but is tulpa based.

Years ago back in grade school I created a tulpa to help me get through a rough time with bullies. I needed advice, someone stronger and darker and more ruthless than I to make me mentally stronger. This was back before I knew what a tulpa was. Anyways I encountered him again today, he showed up as I am struggling with some things right now. I said I didn't need him anymore and only needed the courage he wants gave me. He said do you want it again? I said that as nice as it was I still don't need him. He said why can't you have the benifits without my presence? I that would be nice and would accept if there was a way. He placed his hand on my shoulder and dissapeared, simultaneously the whole city (small town I live in) blacked out and my porch I was sitting on went black as night (as it is night now). Could they be related?
I am no one. However, you are someone I find very interesting. AMA if you feel compelled.

I don't know anything about tulpae, really. Therefore, I will answer anyway:

Your experience could have been a coincidence. And, given that causing citywide blackouts would inconvenience a lot of people, I would kind of hope so. Maybe the tulpa anticipated or expected the outage. I do, however, regard tulpae as being real, and I'd think that they do have at least some influence on the physical world. I assume you had no further contact with that specific tulpa; hence your not having the opportunity to ask him about the blackout.

Power is now back on. Strange coincidence, but probably that is all. Smile
Any way an hour in the dark after that encounter was enough excitement to make me uncomfortable.

As a tulpamancer, I don't think so.

I honestly think they're just advanced imaginary friends.

But hey, maybe I'm wrong. It'd be cooler that way.

That's the answer I was hoping for, I will sleep better this way. I also agree that they are advanced imaginary friends but the event spooked me enough to ask

I still think you should ask the tulpa, if you can. Maybe they don't know either, but I'd sooner ask a tulpa than a tulpamancer. They're more familiar with being tulpae than the latter.

They cant. They are (frankly) part of your consciousness.

If they do though, that may make things interesting.
Check out my AMA!
