Some people aren't ever going to understand; probably don't even want to understand. I used to get into it with people who were badmouthing Rainbow Dash. People who "hated" her. But the more you try to show someone that they're wrong or aren't seeing the full picture, the more they cling to their hate or preconceived notions.

You know who Spitfire really is; they don't. And if all they want to see is the bad, that's something that will probably do them a disservice in the long run.

I've felt and to an extent still do in regards to Nightmare. She's unfortunately been bad mouthed quite a bit by others, some individuals even aiming their words about her at myself and it used to agitate me a lot, but I've primarily overcome that. I see them for the foolish pismires they all are and I am privy to a great, unique truth that no one else can fully grasp except for she and I.
