Not gonna try to get too sappy here, but I probably will. Heh.

BronyCon 2017 was my first con ever, and I can safely say it was the best event I've ever been to. Everything was just fantastic. The music, the guests, the community, the cosplays...everything put the biggest smile on my face, which is something I've really needed recently, as some of you know.

See, I like to compare my initial interest in FiM to a nuclear explosion of positivity. Dunno why, I just do. Maybe because it drastically changed my life in positive ways? Anyway, over four years ago, I officially started to call myself a Brony. BronyCon felt like a culmination, a celebration, of everything that's happened to me concerning MLP since then. Like one big party. Like a second nuclear explosion. And words cannot ever describe how much every second of this weekend meant to me. I felt so happy, to the point of tears in many cases. To hear voice actors like Michelle Creber and Cathy Weseluck say a few lines in their character's voice right in front of me was simply amazing and magical.

So yeah. BronyCon 2017, best weekend ever. It's helped me see that my contributions to here and the rest of the Brony fandom are way way way more important than I thought they were. It's also encouraged me to really get serious about my relationship with Fluttershy.

So that's what I'm gonna do. Get serious about Fluttershy and the Brony fandom. This is all too important.

I miss bronycon my dudes. The con crud also hit me hard today, and the post con depression. It was a great time!

It's a shame I wasn't on here before I went, but I had a whole adventure at this con and I probably passed some of you guys in the halls. I stayed awake for 30 hours straight into the first day (it was the longest trip I'd ever made by car), and I only ate three granola bars, half a loaf of bread and a plate of continental breakfast all weekend, but it was still magical as hell. I actually went with the intent to sleep in my backseat on top of that, but I wound up relying on the kindness of strangers. Instantly connecting with people was surreal, but nice, and I almost wish I could carry it over into normiespace.

Beyond that I got some nice merch with the money I didn't eat, met some painfully interesting people, and in general I can't wait to go to another one.
