Someone at school recommended it to me. I decided to give it a shot. My thoughts are that it plays with a lot of interesting topics and will sweep you off your feet several times, but it's best to go in spoiler free. It's a free game, and interesting I'd say, best to give it a shot. But it has disturbing material in it, as a warning.

I'm sorry, that is a tough scene. It's a game built around desconstructing these type of "dating sim" tropes, uses aspects including horror and things relating to waifuism even. But it isn't for everyone. Sorry.

Finished "Axiom Verge" fun metroidvania style 2-D side scroller. Sometha button mashing required to combo 2 or 3 abilities together to get to a distant/secret/difficult area was satisfyingly challenging. Fun interestingly game play and puzzles using a "glitch gun" to change enemies behaviors, or warp parts of the level into/out of existence

That sounds pretty neat.

Finally finished Bayonetta 1 and 2 on my Switch. Really creative games, I loved them both and they're definitely among my favorites. The Platinum Games action hack and slash I'm finding myself really fond of. And while this wasn't the most rewarding to play compared to Nier Automata (I found the Witch Time to be not as reliable as the similar function in Nier Automata and Transformers Devastation) I still really liked the creative boss fights and designs, as well as the crazy over the top story. All in all, definitely among my favorites.

Downloaded PitPeople, turn based RPG from the same people who made Castle Crashers, like Friday, and have been playing that all weekend. Humor is unexpected and hilarious, and the animations are fun and colorful. The main story quest is short enough, can finish within, a few hours, for fun. Lotsa side quests. And silly helmets and weapons. Current favorite helmet is a HORSE MASK. have also found wow doge helmet. Kinda like Pokémon with building a party, and in that how you get new fighters, gotta kick everyone else's ass in an encounter then capture the last guy in a net. Nearly any enemy, bosses even. And the "overworld" view, traveling from quests or the city, reminds me of Wild Arms, because western music and old timey pulled covered-wagon. Also, there's a giant space bear that picks up the city and places it somewhere else on the planet every few hours, changing the overworld map.

I've finally gotten around to playing Splatoon 2, I got to say this is a lot of fun and really addicting. It is a fun, fast pace game that can be both casual and competitive. Wouldn't call it completely perfect though, I'd say the weapons aren't totally balanced, I dislike some of the map setups, and I wish I can pick teams so I can play with friends and not have it random. But overall, I can really see this being such a strong franchise for nintendo.

Got "The Surge" + all DLC on sale. It's like COD Black Ops had a baby with Dark Souls. Future sci-fi setting. Most enemies are hollows in exo-suits, and maintenance robots. Alot easier than Dark Souls, enemies are dumber/slower and less diverse attacks it seems. Tactical dismemberment though, only way to get weapons/armor/crafting material is by dismembering enemies. Want arm armor? Take the enemies arm off. Also lil less stable than Darksouls, randomly freezing, not registering enemy deaths (to open doors), giving wrong achievement for task completed, ect.
