First off; Welcome to Waifu Central! This post is just to get you familiar with us, our rules, and user involvement.
So let’s talk about rules first. Rules here are very simple and straightforward. Be nice to your fellow users (treat them how you would want to be treated), make sure to keep threads on topic, and keep NSFW in its designated threads/channels. That’s pretty much it, but we’ll get more into where to post NSFW and what is considered NSFW here in a bit.
The layout of the board and forums are pretty self-explanatory, but there’s a few areas worth mentioning some details about. The Relationship forum is to contain most personal feelings, in regards to most individual thoughts about yourself or anyone else. The Journals sub- forum is intended to be a personal diary for yourself, feel free to use it however you see fit! For those of you with tulpas, or interested in learning how to develop one, the Wizard’s Lair sub-forum will have any advice you may find you need. In terms of NSFW content, there are two sub-forums designed to contain such content. The Love and Sex sub-forum is located within the Relationships board is again, the designated place for any feelings that may not be fit in the other boards. Erotica is located within the Art board, and is the destination for all NSFW content, artwork or fiction. Please note that if you have not yet made an introductory post you will not be able to view these forums.
With NSFW we consider it to be anything sexually related. For example sexual talk, clop/porn, suggestive photos, fetish talk, etc.. These all need to stay in their designated areas in order for us to keep the forums and the Discord server a comfortable place for everyone. In the Discord server we do have a designated NSFW channel; however, you will need to ask a staff member to give you permission to see it. It’s designed that way to keep it out of sight and out of mind for those who do not wish to see it. We understand sometimes accidents happen and one of the staff will ask to have the content removed or moved to an NSFW location if something is posted in the wrong place. Finally, all NSFW threads must contain the “NSFW” prefix, even in their dedicated sub-forums.The prefix “NSFW” is located in the drop down box that says “No Prefix” in front of where you enter the thread title. It’s not necessary to put “NSFW” in the title. If you have any questions or want any further clarification please feel free to ask any of the staff.
Our community relies on active participation from everyone whether large or small. After you read this post we encourage you to work on an introduction and post it as soon as you feel comfortable. We do want to emphasize nonetheless to not make an account and just lurk. As said earlier it takes everyone(including you!) to make Waifu Central the place it is. On a final note; accounts that are registered and don’t make an introduction will be terminated after a few months. This does not apply to accounts that have merely not made a post in a while, only accounts that never made an intro post in the first place.
Introductions are simple and easy to do(seriously don’t overthink it). Just tell us a little bit about yourself, who your waifu is and their source material(that is if you have one or more. There is no requirement despite the name of the site), and how you came across WC.
Finally if you have questions/complaints/concerns about anything please feel free to send a personal message to any of the following staff members:
Rares
whobawhats
Kaltes-Herzeleid
Pacifist
Gentian
Thank you for reading and we look forward to seeing you on the boards!
