Know of any foods that are exclusive to your family/region/country/etc and not commonly found around the world? Feel free to share them here! I'll start.

Lamington - It's sponge cake squares coated with a layer of chocolate and rolled in coconut. It tastes really good! I like it served with cream in the middle, like seen in this picture:

Indeed. KFC is just fast food where I'm from too. Tasty fast food, yes, but nothing all that special. Most of the time, that's the way it is here, too, but on Christmas it's like the whole country comes down with a craving for that deep-fried goodness.
