That's the one true fact of the universe. Everything else is up for debate, but SpaceGodzilla will, truly, never not be awesome.

He's a freakin' badass.

Truth.

I will say that the only exception to that is that I have yet to finish reading through Heart of a Nightmare, primarily because I don't want to rush through it solely for the sake of getting through it. I promise that I'll give you my thoughts on what you've written in that respect as soon as I've read the latest chapter at the time.

Stay awesome, man. Twilight Smile

Thank you, I truly do value these words, and believe me I notice you read my stuff (totally does not check who's online frequently) and I appreciate that a great deal. And I look forward to reading your thoughts on the story. Have a good day...or night...or whatever time it is over there.Smile

And now, I shall take a short recess to shower.

Now, on the topic of government, lying is a part of politics, it's built on bargaining and persuasion, that's the core of it. Sure, the government does things that are shitty and really bad choices, yes, the past near twenty years have been problematic, violent, bloody, tough, and emotional. No, I don't stand for the pledge of allegiance each day due to how I feel about some heavier topics. But, I do like living here, we have a lot of freedoms and things to enjoy, our system has flaws, but every countries government has flaws, the UK's parliament has broken out into full out brawls in meetings, as recent as last year, at least Congress doesn't fist fight with each other. I support the military and those who serve, even if I don't agree with the conflict, I feel joining the military is a great honor that should be honored. I don't expect you to fee as I do, just throwing my pengu hat in the ring.

joining the army is an honor. i will shit on the president. but a soldier who protect the innocent will always be respected

I respect our soldiers, but not the cause. Unfortunately, our stupid leaders see the soldiers as nothing more than game pieces.

But I still feel bad for those who still think they're protecting us. Ignorance is bliss, I suppose.

define us? im being protected by my own guns lol. even in equestria i would be the crazy one to say let me go first to protect the guards

I meant the soldiers.

Also, I've never seen the thing about guns. Just move to a small town and you won't need them.

small town =/= no crime/reason to defend yourself.

I live in a small town. Crime still happens. Break in's, assaults, things like that. Not very frequently, but they happen. One of my buddies was robbed at gun point in his own home. Small towns do not change the fact people commit crimes.

Yeah, but they're less likely to happen. I live in a small town too. It sucks, but I think we'd have a bigger chance of people winning some high stakes lottery here and to die on their way to purchase a ticket than to have someone get murdered or held at gunpoint.

Actually, it just seems like less because there's less people. If we have 1 crime for every 10 people, when that goes up to 1000 you see 100 crimes and it SEEMS more dangerous, but it's the same scale. Of course the comparison isn't like the infamous "Some of these M&M's are poison. Eat a handful." The less danger you expose yourself to the safer you are. Living in areas with millions of people means there are that many times more criminals around, and therefore the more likely you are to be a victim of a crime.
