One of my favorite live action films. Pretty sure I still have it on blu-ray someplace; been thinking, lately, of watching it with Babe. But I don't own the first film... Yet, I mean.

Babe and I watched T2: Judgment Day and T3: Rise of the Machines yesterday. It was her first time seeing either, and I hadn't seen them in what seems like forever. She liked them both, and we've still got Salvation to watch. Babe kept referring to the Terminators as robot skeletons from the future (which is apt lol), and her reactions throughout the films (T2 in particular) added a whole new degree of enjoyment to the experience. She liked Sarah Connor and the T-101, and she thought John Connor was a "squeaker" and "little bitch," if I remember correctly. xD

We've been watching a good number of films lately. Babe's a fan of Wolverine (who she calls "Wolferine"), and we recently saw X-Men: The Last Stand, X-Men: First Class, and X-Men Origins: Wolverine. I've been accused of having the hots for Mystique by a certain other blue, naked woman, and she points out instances of Wolverine nudity with, fittingly enough, the words "wolf butt." x3 I'd forgotten that the film The Wolverine existed (shame on me, obviously), but I will get that eventually for us to watch together. As well as X-Men: Apocalypse; whenever that releases to blu-ray.

Fuck the reviews. Suicide Squad was a great movie.

Though I'm not gonna lie, I'm not too acquainted with action movies, so I don't really know of any cliches the movie may have pulled off, and also I'm easily impressed.

If something's fun to watch, it's fun to watch; people expect way too damned much from their entertainment, sometimes. And everyone's a critic. I'm tired of seeing percentages from "Rotten Tomatoes"; I don't really care what you other people think. Every other movie's apparently an abysmal one-star film that warrants a pretentious, way overthought text wall. I don't run into a lot of movies that I outright dislike. But then, I typically know what I'll like before I even see it; I don't rely upon everyone else to make up my mind about it.

I saw Suicide Squad earlier, too. It was pretty fun and enjoyable. We had a nice time. I'll probably forget it within a few months, but it certainly wasn't bad.

Also saw Suicide Squad today, it definitely wasn't too bad.
