I assume you mean me? it's frequently bellow freezing and it'll get really cold sometimes(I've seen it get to -15 F around here a few times), but I guess I'm the rare exception in that it doesn't bother me.

Yes, I meant you, Whobawhats, and that is way too cold for me.

if you mean me, probably yes, but that depends on how you define "frigid"
When you live in Florida, your version of frigid is probably quite a bit higher than what we would call frigid.

I believe it got to 0C a few times in my part of Florida, but only a few times in the 17 years I lived there. Usual winter temps are probably somewhere around 10C, so yeah, I would imagine Germany is much colder than that.

You didn't drink enough for today? have a headache!
You couldn't shower today? Sweat like a disgusting waterfall for all of eternity!
You're walking barefoot? Get stung by a bee!
Spend 10 minutes mowing the lawn? Turn into a crab!

Can I spend the summer in Norway or something?
Heh, I feel the same way. I'm much more of a winter person myself. Generally i can't stand when the outside temp is much over 80 F(about 26 C for you non burgers) with a few exceptions.

This is why, imho, Autumn is the best season. Summer's too hot, Winter's too cold, Spring is too wet, too buggy, and too alergey-y. When I lived in Florida, I preferred winter, because, winter there is pretty mild, and every other season is hot, but doesn't it get pretty frigid where you are?

I'm definitely a Winter person. It's just so comfy. I love the snow and cold, and skiing is the only sport I enjoy. However, one of the most depressing things is a mild winter, and I live in Western PA where those aren't exactly uncommon anymore. I'd love to move further north.

Oh I'm the exact same way. Autumn for me is that perfect sense of "just right" for me. I feel like Rarity is the same way.

Sorry but...I gotta go with summer. It's by far best season. I think it's because I got summer associated with freedom back when I was a kid, and so now, even though I don't get summers off, I still think of it as the most carefree part of the year.

Winter. Every other season is pretty hot. Live in a desert climate. It's hot usually.

Wow, that's awesome. What a coincidence that we live so close to each other! How long have you been working at 7springs? I haven't been there in many years, and have never been to Hidden Valley. My father, brothers, and I make ski trips every year, mostly to Holiday Valley in NY. That's been our go to resort for a long time.

Well I started working at HV about 5 years ago and later when 7S bought them out I started working there on occasion as well (Oh and I did a little work at Laurel Mountain this past year when they reopened it). Unfortunately neither place are quite what they used to be. I've always wanted to get up to Holiday Valley since it seems like people really like it up there just haven't had the chance.

I have been hearing that 7S isn't doing too well, that is unfortunate. If I'm honest I don't remember too much about it, as I haven't been there many times, and the last time I was there was probably over a decade ago. I highly recommend trying out Holiday Valley, though, if you ever get the chance. I'll message you at some point tonight or tomorrow when you're available if you want to continue talking.

Yeah the current owners have really run the place into the ground. It's kinda sad considering what the place once was. Unfortunately it doesn't look like they'll pull out or sell the place anytime soon. I really need to get up to Holiday Valley one of these days I've heard a lot of good things. Yeah we'll continue this in private.
