I put on Fiction first because it sounded the most interesting.
It's a good song, but obviously sad. To me it sounds like it's about death or suicide.

You should listen to more than just what Penguin listed. A7X are known for deep and meaningful songs. They tell good stories.
Penguin, yes. A7X foREVer! That's how I got my name actually. I love the song Fiction.
They're a really good band, especially when you get into them. Listen to what Penguin listed, and if you like those, message me for some of their best songs.
Penguin, what's your favorite song by A7X? And laifu, (mind if I call you that?) what did you think of Fiction?

It's a tie between A Little Piece of Heaven, Scream, Buried Alive, and I Won't See You Tonight

Love is bittersweet, sometimes you have to carry on knowing you're partner won't be with you much longer, what's important is that you stay strong for them
But I disagree with you on Requiem's meaning. I kinda figured it was about a guy turning to devil-worship (I mean, the bridge is pretty much just a dark version of the lord's prayer) but then redeems himself.
But the beauty of music is it means something different to each different person.

I don't mind you calling me laifu.
As for Fiction, like I said earlier, it has good meaning. Music that gets you thinking and makes you feel is better than other club-type music, that while they get you moving, hold no sentimental value as they don't seem to evoke emotion or thoughts.

What you said reminds me of Iniquity. Although underrated, YouTube his name. He's a really good rapper. He actually seems to despise other rappers whose music only seems to serve the purpose that you described, just to make people dance.
Iniquity's music makes you dance, feel, and think. The whole package.
What you called "club-type" music, I think you're thinking of EDM bangers. While awesome, bangers are just songs that are just supposed to make you dance.
If you're into EDM, I'm a big fan myself and I can give you good recommendations, and they're emotional, not just bangers.

Let's not deviate further from the topic. I forgot to list the music I listen to earlier.
The Beatles. My favorite is Hey Jude, it helps me when I'm feeling worried, concerned, or just negative about something.
Elton John's music is pretty good, but I can't pick a favorite. He has passion for music, which shines in his lyrics.
Aerosmith. Love their music. My favorite is Sweet Emotion. It just tells a story of how the band was feeling at the time, like Steven Tyler not taking too much of a liking to Joe Perry's girlfriend, and the tension.
As for my tastes in music, I've already posted about my love of Avenged Sevenfold's music.
I love EDM, Rock n Roll, and Rap (but not most mainstream rappers)
My favorite Rock n Roll artists are, of course, A7X. My favorite songs by them are Fiction, Nightmare, Afterlife, and Almost Easy, although a lot of their songs are really good, which makes it hard to pick favorites.
I don't much care for The Beatles (come at me) but I love Strawberry Fields Forever. It's just really catchy, and the outro is badass.
I love the music made for Call of Duty Zombies, including A7X's Not Ready to Die.
My favorite EDM artists are deadmau5, Daft Punk, and Dada Life. My favorite songs by Deadmau5 are Strobe and The Veldt.
My favorite songs by Dada Life are One Smile and Kick out the Epic Motherfucker. My favorite songs by Daft Punk are Face to Face, Short Circuit, and Da Funk (just like A7X, so many good songs it's hard to pick favorites)
My favorite rap artists are Iniquity, Eminem, Biggie Smalls, and Tupac. All their music holds good meaning, I think laifu would like it.
My favorite Emienem songs are Rap God and Like Toy Soldiers.
My favorite Iniquity songs are All That's Left and Get Back Up.
I talk way too much.

I don't think anyone minds your wordiness, if we did, it would defeat the purpose of having this forum.
To add on to my musical tastes, I like pretty much any music that was made during the '70s and '80s. Musicians back then were passionate about what they did and it showed. I love that.

Oh boy here we go....
Well I primarily listen to electronic music, across many genres. I don't exactly have that 1 true go-to producer but my favourites have to be Skrillex, Trollphace, Pegboard Nerds, Excision, Datsik, a little DJ Snake and alot others.
