Dude I literally had this patriot wish me a happy 9/11 yesterday. To be fair I kinda started it by lightheartedly (and annoyingly) repeating the Bush did 9/11 and jet fuel can't melt steel beams meme.

I'm kinda glad we could just remember an event without having to feel grief over it.

The way I look at it, I didn't lose anyone in the September 11th attacks. No one I know was even anywhere near them at the time. It's not my place to be grief stricken about them every year.

I'll be honest, I still think the whole theory behind 9/11 being an inside job isn't too far fetched considering the other shady things the government's done.

Back in the 60s, the government tried to stage a bunch of terrorist attacks and blame them on Cuba, but the president stopped that from happening.

Then, the government also tried (i'm not sure if they just tried or if they did) to test dangerous chemicals on their own civilians.

If it was an inside job, Bush probably wasn't the brains behind it.

And my father was convinced that, while serving in Vietnam, that he had been deliberately exposed to Agent Orange by the military. And, I think, that it would be the death of him.

No worries. I was maybe six when he died; I never met him. My father sent me, that I know of, one letter (that I was too young to read at the time). A letter inviting ME to come and see HIM when I was eighteen. He also said something about a Christmas present... The new child his new wife was pregnant with. I assume that was at least partly in there to try and hurt my mom. The woman who ended up raising my brother and myself on her own.
