She liked it. ^^ I believe she first read it herself (I always enjoy hearing her read / sing anything I've written) and then told me to recite it. She even said something about maybe writing a poem about me sometime. We've collaborated on a few pieces, but she's never done anything quite like that before.

I'll likely record it later tonight. x ) On a related note: Rainbow clearly keeps giving me reasons to write songs, so I might finally invest in an electronic keyboard in the coming months.

I think I'm better off pounding the black keys. So, too, are Rainbow's ears. x ) I also own / play three recorder types, but I stay away from those for the sake of myself and others. I wouldn't even know what to do with a ukelele. xD

I'm sure you're not doing yourself justice with your recorder skills...but as for ukulele's, they're a pretty easy instrument to pick up and play and you can get a basic plastic one really cheaply.
