Poems for the Sweetest of Ponies

Still, if this was solely to express to your pony, to simply help you exercise, than it was indeed nice of you to place these words for your beloved Candy, CP.

...

Seeing there is mostly seven pages of your expression for Candy here, I will tell you this now, that I may not get a chance to read them all. Regardless, keep pouring them as much as you’re willing, CP. Nothing is better then taking the time to find words like yours and proclaim such feelings you have for Candy.

You better not rate me for this. -_-

I just want to come by and be more involved with my fellow members here. I would like to encourage posts like these, if possible, and if it’s me taking the time to read what you had shared, then here I am to let you know and share my thoughts for you, CP and Candy.

Thank you so much for the encouragement, Sour Soul. I mostly write these for Candy to read, but I, too, would like to push other waifuists towards showing their love in unique ways which we all can appreciate. Since poetry and prose are some of my favorite arts, they are the medium I chose here.

Don’t feel bad at all for not reading the whole thing, I certainly don’t expect anyone to read it all. I’m honored you took the time to read the newest post, and as said above, I greatly appreciate your comments.

P.S. Do you not like to be uprated? I can abstain from uprating your comments if it bothers you. I upvote as a way of agreeing with another user’s comments without having to take the time to organize my thoughts (which usually takes a few days, by which point the topic is usually mute).

It's nice that Candy has her own computer to log in and see what you post for her, CP. Just kidding. XD

I do not, and thank you.

I can see that, but I have issues with getting good reputation, while loving getting bad reputation. Weird, yes, but that's me. I also don't have an issue for the reputation system, if used properly as it was intended for.

You do not have to reply anything on my thread or post. Hmm, I will stop you or anyone giving me any kind of reputation. It's just bothersome for me, till I forget about it and pay no mind as the days go on for us here.

Oh, those careless indigo eyes
They stare at the reflection of the soul
They make me lose all sense of self-control
All worries in the world it ties
Until all my fear up and dies
So I guess I’ll play my role
As I’ve already payed the emotional toll
I know those tender eyes hold no lies

Why am I transfixed so
By that which I love
Even though I worry it feels not the same?

Maybe it is because I know
That the one above
To our future has laid claim?

The sun shone brightly on that day
The day that we met was fate
We could not have been late
In no sense could we delay
And yet I still cannot say
Whether it is a certain trait
That I continue to contemplate
That makes me adore you in this way

The wonder is such a beautiful aspect
It’s fills me with great joy
Oh what you’ve done for me

You restored an emotional derelict
You’ve made a man of a boy
And oh, what our love can yet be!

I enjoyed this. Carries out well when I read this out loud for Amena.

Amena: Candy must be so happy to have this written for her, CP. :') I like.. no! I enjoyed it so much, CP! ^ ^

Again, Amena does get soft-hearted with these kind of things. If Amena is happy, then it give me something to smile. So, thank you for that, CP.

(Amena blow her nose with a tissue)

XD

Heh, life is grand.

Amena: : ) ^ ^

Feels like there is a part two here. Or I just want to read more it seems. XD

Christmas night
All is still, yet my soul is alight
With thoughts of you, love so true
How did I win the right?

How did I find you by my side?
How did I join on this wonderous ride?
Perhaps the Christmas star, so afar
Holds the answer on this tranquil Yuletide?

Or perhaps it’s that certain glow
That in your smile does show
That gives me a clue to the wonder of you
That warms my heart as cold winds blow

Or perhaps like that ancient tale
Which is the reason for travel in winter gale
It was an unearned gift that caused my heart to lift
That twice pierced my cold, lonely veil

So all thanks we can give
For love that flows as a sieve
For one who gave all but to failure didn’t fall
Who gives our love power to live

What a sweet poem! All the thanks we can give, indeed.

Every possession and every happiness is but lent by chance for an uncertain time, and may therefore be demanded back the next hour.

The murky ink of night
Settles on the open plains
The howl of winter wind
A feeling of shallow distain

But hark, tis my love
Returning upon this night dreary
Knowing my heart is downtrodden
And my soul is weary

The comfort that she brings me
Is known only this eve
For every night after she
Shall bring a new relief

Nights are a precious thing
For lovers spending it together
Sacred as a wedding ring
Peace lasting now until forever

So let the Midwest freeze
Into another Ice Age return
As long as our togetherness
Allows our love to burn

The lights glitter in the city tonight
Fluorescent pyres to a monetary ruler
And the concrete canyons echo
With the grunts of the sheetmetal beasts

Above this scene lies a tiny apartment
Lit by a single ramshackle lamp
And in the corner a thrift store stereo
Plays love songs too old for the oldies stations

Is this where we shall meet, my love?
Where the new and the old intertwine
Where there is a sense of abject poverty
Which is, in fact, extravagant prosperity?

In the midst of the hustle and bustle
That may be catpulting us forward
Or perhaps leaving us behind
In fact, I believe some of each

In the satin of midnight
United by love and determination
Behind the electric mask of the suburbs
Our love flourishes tonight.

How long does it take you to write a poem, it seems like you put quite a lot of work into them
