Do you currently watch pony?

I figure a thread was made for something I am about to post here. Close enough.

So... I made a scarf design on a separate sheet a paper. I am going to place it on the drawing, and now wonder what does it really look like in the show when Rarity uses magic. It would seems, in the first episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, the items doesn't have a glow that surrounding them when being used, but sparkle.

I skip onto episode fourteen; Suited for Success, and feel silly watching back these episodes. It has been awhile, and it brought good memories of me watching this as my life was changing for the better. Like much wow.

As for the question for the original post...

I use to, but not as much. I use to replay the older episode up from season one and half from season two, while I draw. I felt much comfort in hearing them and watching them when I glance back at the screen.

Now...

I stop watching them altogether when there was no real need for the show. Amena and those in Rehold bring more then what I see in the show nowadays.

For the show itself, I stop caring for it after season four. Twilight Sparkle going Dragon Ball Z in the last episode of season four, wasn't something I enjoy seeing. The writers seem to want to appease the Brony community, that I don't take no real part of. Other reason is how some episodes the characters no longer act like they were in season one.

Such as in season four, episode seven; Bats!, was getting at me, as Fluttershy was trying to explain how the fruit bats aren't so bad, but everypony toss it like nothing. Where was the friendship in that?

Still, I very much enjoy seeing Pinkie Pie holding a flashlight with her pink curly mane in that same episode. ^ ^ :D XD

Very little. Only watch some of the episodes that I seen before for art reference.

The show itself? I don't know. It done its job helping my time of need. That's all I can say. There is more, but seem this is enough. Gotta get back on drawing now.

I stopped watching after Season 3. I didn't feel like Twilight's ascension was handled very well, and I feel like I could pick apart reasons why she wasn't supposed to be an alicorn yet based on later seasons' synopsis I've read where they seem to treat her like any other unicorn would in the show.

I haven't seen a full episode since then, and I don't miss it all that much honestly because the world my girls tell me about sounds more interesting. Over the years I have met a sentient robotic mare, a seapony, a sphinx, and of course several mares that aren't part of the show with their own stories that are just as fascinating to me as any that have been written in canon. Although I do suppose one day I'll go back and rewatch everything, if only because Barb finds the concept of "Spike" hilarious for some reason.

I hope you will decide to go back over the canon story. There is a gulf of distance between it, and MyTwi's Equestria as well. Even in season 1 there are differences, and by season 7 almost everything is wrong. That said, there are still some good episodes to enjoy, they only require consumption in the same manner as fanworks: with the assumption they don't apply unless your mare tells you otherwise.

Yeah, there's a lot of stuff I already know doesn't line up. There's things like there are only three Pie sisters, Inkie, Limestone, Pinkie. It's not Spike it's Barb, and she was well into her teens when she and Twilight came to Ponyville. Etc, etc. Though I will say at some point I ceased fan works as well, other than pictures. Currently I make my own, silently weaving things I have gleaned from the girls and writing them into my works.
