Anonymity is considered a good thing on the English boards, and those with names are generally regarded as attention-whores. Is it different on the Russian side?
Yes, in almost every thread. General thread was ponyfag chat from the begining, In almost every character thread there are some old, well-known visitors. And on board self-identify could be even easier, since you can attach a qutie-mark of pony from series to your post.

But the funny thing is: i dont really think it is bad. Otherwise, anonymity usually using as a "shout-from-the-crowd simulator". And really, there aren't many totaly anonymous post (without name, or picture, or qutie-mark, or other detectable stuff) that is not provocative, or just not-friendly post. (and there are many acute themes to discuss and word-fight) Anonymity discredited itself, since 2ch.hk became popular and "fashionable" imageboard.
