I find it to be difficult when one is... pretty upset. If you can calm down enough to hear Nightmare, then that's good.. That you're able to control your anger. Most time, unleashing it uncontrollable will be a challenge. This applies with anybody; be family, friends, etc. (I like the fact we will try much harder with those we love very very much, than those who will be like "blah blah")
As for the voice part, I used to have a really hard time when talking with Amena, because I will mistake it with Maria. Working with both at the same time is a challenge, but now come to know who I am talking to now.
So Nightmare is not always around you, huh?
