Lust without love is just lust
A windblown and scattering dust
Lust, come from love, is a place
A warm, knowing look on her face
A humbling place where you go
To bask in a kind lamplit glow
To hold, and be held, and be whole
To lose all yourself in her soul
I was originally going to quote just my favourite line from this and write something along the lines of "I love this part right here" or something like that, but after pondering for a little while, I cannot for the life of me pick only one that I like. The entire thing speaks to me, and each line has it's own beauty and meaning derived from the others, so to take one out of context is to deprive it of that meaning.
I'm rambling a little, so I apologise for that, but man, I love this poem.
