Too often; though I'm finally learning to get away from that nonsense. When I first told Babe, "I don't deserve you," she made it clear that is isn't about that. She chooses and wants to be with me, and that's precisely what I want. People in a loving relationship will say things like, "I'd want you to be happy; even without me." Of course I *want* Babe to be happy, but I want her to be happy with me.

Rather than saying she deserves better or that I'm not good enough, I try to say this: I will always try to be better. I won't ever stop working towards being the sort of partner I want to be and should be. Angelbabe is amazing; there's no doubt about that. But she's in my life, and that's where I want her to be.

So don't think, "I'm not good enough for you." Think, "I'm going to be better FOR you."
