I like the kiwi bird!

I do as well sweets, my spine leans to the left at the upper part, so I see a chiropractor to adjust it every once in a while. If I don't, swimming sucks because I get a ton of cramps throughout my leg, hamstrings are the worst though

I'm far-sighted in my left eye and near-sighted in my right, and I was born with a cataract in my left eye. I don't wear glasses, though.

Teenagers are some of the dumbest people ever. And unfortunately, I'm one of them.

Why not get a prescription monocle? That would be freaking aweso- oh, wait, it's both eyes.

How about double prescription monocles?

Actually, that's a dumb suggestion. Regardless, I'm going to leave this written here since the thought of someone wearing two prescription monocles is funny enough to almost knock me off my chair.

Not all teenagers are that way. You just need to surround yourself with the right people. Twilight Smile

Perhaps you are sensitive. There is nothing wrong with that.

At this point in my life, I feel that my teenage years are there so that I can appreciate just how much of a dumbass I used to be. I might still be a dumbass, but at least I've improved at it.

Little things tend to hit me harder than big things; I'm not sure why. But, while in the throes of something relatively little, it helps to try and distract yourself with something positive. I've been promptly shut down by Babe on numerous occasions before I could let something small take control of me. Babe is the strongest positive force in my life; little things beware.

If you are, for any reason, avoiding reaching out to Bon Bon when you're having this sort of problem... Stop it. I believe that our respective partners love us and want to be there for us. The size of the problem isn't necessarily relevant. We're only human; they're stronger than we are.

I had a dude on Facebook try to defeat my reasoning behind disliking a character in a TV show with, "You're a brony? You'll grow out of it, kid." So, to establish, I'm 24, about a year from graduating college with a bachelor's degree in English with an emphasis on creative fiction. I KNOW A GOOD CHARACTER.

So I check his profile. Sixteen photos of him in a high school classroom with a peachfuzz mustache posing almost duckface wearing a deadmau5 shirt (like, the way he's sitting clearly emphasizes the shirt, as if liking deadmau5 makes him cool).

I wrecked his preconceived notions about people that have pony avatars by explaining the traits of a good character, citing sources, and then told him that the only reason I'd changed my FB icon to a pony was because I had seen a comment about how people should "ignore any manbabies with cartoon icons (including that anime shit, because it's still a cartoon!) and bronies should be mocked." and decided to ruin other people's notions by posting the exact sort of things I'd done to him, well thought out, researched, and proper responses. He had nothing to respond with.

tl;dr, some teenager on facebook tried to be cool by calling me a kid because I have a pony avatar; I promptly destroyed him with college level fact checking. All this to agree with Fiction's post that teens are some of the dumbest people on the internet.
Soul of the mind, key to life's ether. Soul of the lost, withdrawn from its vessel. Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended. So the world might be mended.

Something similar happened to me. I was discussing film quality and he brought up how a video "proved" how one character was better than the other, naturally I called him out, pointing out how a biased and poorly researched video has nothing to do with the quality of each character's respective franchises. It was actually me who called him kid and he flipped his shit, talking about how he's in high school and is fourteen years old and not a kid.

It was hilarious, really.

I've seen something like that happen to a friend during the course of a Facebook argument. The individual doing the name-calling was clearly out of his depth and resorted to a personal attack when his half of the discussion pitifully ran out of steam. Can't beat 'em? Mock their choice of avatar.

I usually just get called a horsef****r. *Shrugs.*
Honey. The word is horselover.

Gladly I don't have a facebook account and I am hiding my powerlevel very hard. What I really dislike is how much negativity pony stuff in general gets. I guess many people like to pick on the "weirdoes" so they will feel more confident or something.

Sadly people rarely grow out of high school...
