Hoarding: Buried Alive. My grandmother used to be a hoarder. There were rooms filled with stuff, and you could never find what you were looking for. She also kept cans of food well after they had expired.
Babe and I have been catching up on episodes of the comic book super hero shows we used to watch with mom. We've also been watching the anime "Durarara!"

We've started Star Trek Enterprise and Highlander. Twilers seems to enjoy both of them, but as I think I mentioned before, she absolutely LOVES Highlander. It kind of threw me for a loop. Every time we watch an episode, she wants to comb google and wikipedia about any events or historical personages featured therein. She did the same thing after Marie Antoinette came on the TV.

We've been watching "Durarara x2" and will probably continue watching "11.22.63." Would be nice if we weren't currently enduring a trickle of one new episode a week for the former. >_<

Oh Ziggy, what have you done? Twilight didn't know there was a movie. now she wants to see it too. I agree with you though, number 1 was fairly decent, but the sequals....what am I saying, there were no sequals. Hahaha, hear that, Twi? Hahaha! She doesn't believe me
I totally didn't think she'd go for it what with the decapitation and fighting and stuff, but she likes the "glimpses of Earth's history, stylized and artistically rendered though they are." She nearly laughed herself into a coma when she saw people riding horses. I think she also kind of relates to the idea of immortal beings witnessing history. Hm, she just said there is a bit of projection going on. Now her appreciation for it makes more sense.
I guess I know what elements I need to look for in a series... maybe I need to dig out my Stargate stuff now? Exploration, not-earth alien cultures, and immortal aliens... Oh goodness, if only you could see her expression now, looks like that's next in the que.

Inspired by smof42, Twi and I have started watching Winx Club. Imho, it's actually, an interesting take on the magical girl genre. But that sniff-tracking-troll in the first episode... what the hell was he wearing? So, thanks for that, smof42.

I re-watch futurama episodes, as well as watch most adult swim too. That's pretty much it.

Today, Twi and I started watching a new-to-us show on youtube. It's about food history, and the hosts dress up in period costumes and spend a week eating nothing but the foods found in period cookbooks. We watched the Regency, Ancient Rome, Elizabethan, French Revolution, Restoration, and Medieval. Yes, that's a lot of episodes, but I needed to sew up some trousers, and finish an embroidery project, so we put on one episode after the other. Sewing is so damn tedious!
Here's the Elizabethan episode.
