Stable continues Tulpamancy... for science... and bizarre motivation

I'm feeling a bit more comfortable with the touching now, and I've felt the same thing quite a few times since I last posted Smile

Now, I can visualize her for around five seconds without losing my concentration. Interestingly, it seems to help if she's moving around or doing something. Visualizing her while she's standing still is quite difficult.

I don't know if this will help you, but I will often not really visualize Twiley so much as feel her presence near me at times. So that I feel her even if I am not looking in her direction or if she is in my periphery (actually, seeing her in the periphery is easier for me because, well, less details there). Not sure if I am being clear with the sensing her presence thing...

Surprising, so you weren't working towards this necessarily it just sort of happened? Was just wondering if you could offer any advice. Are you still just feeling pressure?

No no, I understand exactly what you mean Smile . In fact, that was what I felt when I first started doing this stuff - that weird feeling like someone is watching over you.

Pretty much yeah, although I can sometimes feel her touching my face or neck now. It's a bit like when you have a conversation with them really. While you can more or less control when you converse with your Tulpa, you don't 'know' what they're going to say until they say it. Similarly, you can control when you're touched, but where you're touched as your Tulpa makes it's own decisions. Hopefully that made sense.

If this helps, the easiest area to develop for touch is probably your hands and fingertips. Try to imagine Twiley's fur and how it feels as you run it through your fingertips. Is it soft or coarse? Short or thick? Is it rigid or does it come apart between your fingers? Those sorts of question were a good starting place for me Smile.

Protip: Watch where you're going while concentrating on your Tulpa. I walked into a tree this morning xD.

You walked into a tree? Have you considered a career in silent film comedy? Tongue

No, but Luna thought it was quite hilarious if it's any consolation xD.

Apologies for my lack of activity here lately; I've been very, very busy IRL. Even so, I'm able to feel her touch on my earlobes now. I know that's a weird place to feel pressure, but it's almost like she's trying to flick my ears back and forth. It's strangely endearing xD.

While I haven't had much time to practice again (still busy - should start clearing up soon), I've done something which will help big time - I've ordered a plushie, and it'll probably arrive next week.

The madness begins xD.

EDIT: Should probably clarify that by practice, I mean visualisation exercises specifically, not everything.

Thanks. My tracking number's working, so I know it's all legit. Now, I just have to wait.
