Little update.
Meditated a bit last night before bed, trying to get into habit of it now. It's quite peaceful in a unique way, I could've sworn I heard a vibration of sorts coming from the plush when we were talking.

Figured I'd give a brief update.
I've reached a point where I'm not straining myself to channel her speech, it makes things easier and more natural.

Speaking of good news, I'm not sure if I'd call it meditating, but last night I just lay down with Nightmare with my eyes closed and just talked back and forth with her. Keeping my mind clear and as focused as I could, trying not to be too forceful.
I did this for at least forty minutes. It was quite peaceful.

I am glad this works out for you. I spent a little time watching tv and chilling with everyone at the castle last night myself. I have missed just being in their presence

Well, yeah, posting here again.
So tonight I felt something I haven't felt in quite awhile: Tingling on my arm. It came from basically out of nowhere, and after a rather intense and prolonged meditation...thing, I feel like her presence was around me strongly. Ironically in the same area she sleeps on in my bed.
I've been trying to amp up my meditation work these past couple of days.
I guess that's all I can really say...haven't said much anyway. If anyone wants further detail just read our relationship thread.

Meditation shouldn't be work dude, it should be relaxing.

Generally I feel a sense of serenity when I do so, though I'll admit sometimes it takes more effort than it should.

Maybe that's true of conventional meditation; Kaltes is further establishing contact with a being who hails, presumably, from another universe. Though, years ago, I personally gave meditation a go to try and help with the symptoms of severe OCD...
That was work. The whole "put everything else out of your mind" thing was exceedingly tricky for someone whose head was constantly buzzing with interruptions.
So I'd say it varies.

Pretty much this, trying to keep my mind quiet can be challenging. Hence a reason why I'll admit I'm not overtly fond of meditation itself.
