your worried about us finding you on youtube? when did the internet become so much of "Iwant my stuff out there on facebook/youtube/etc... but im afraid someone will see it" what happened to people using common sense instead of having to set everything to private on facebook? sorry about the rant... im not really meaning it in a negative way but instead as an actual question.

I think it's more of a case of not wanting one's personal life overlapping with one's online life, here especially.

Meanwhile, I'm just postin'. Me, a number of years back, playing Nintendo-derived melodies on recorder. After... Being discovered, shipwrecked, on a deserted island. Which explains the rampant, unkempt facial hair.

Babe does not enjoy my recorder playing; the recorders have long since been retired lol.

agreed to an extent. i guess cause im a loner by nature I see the world different. most people see online friends as disposable. to me... if i forge a bond with someone it means something special. i guess what im saying is the internet is for having fun, being weird and escaping the judgement of others to truly be ourselves. so no matter what, don't let the opinions of those on facebook or other online places hurt you.

if they can only offend because of their own foolishness, then they get the blocklist ban hammer amiright XD

Do you play any other instruments?

Melodica and keyboard; I'm mostly a one-handed player and favor the black keys when improvising. To anyone with something like actual musical ability this probably sounds pitiable. xD I wanted to try and learn the ukulele, but I think I'd rather just have a decent electronic keyboard again.

I used to be pretty careful about what content I put online. Careful verging on distrustful, cynical, and paranoid. xD That wasn't particularly fun. I won't be doling out really sensitive material willy-nilly or anything, but I don't care about someone from this community knowing my real name or what I look like. And if someone from outside this community has a problem with the sort of things I share at Central, that's entirely their problem.

A lot of people behave as though their misguided disapproval is supposed to matter to what are probably complete strangers on the internet. Why? Why is their opinion important? Because they think it is? Most who would disparage us would probably do so while hiding behind anonymity, anyhow. I'm not a brave man by most definitions, but I recognize that as cowardice. Wanting to keep your personal life private? Perfectly fine. Crapping on someone because they don't live up to your arbitrary, close-minded standards? Nonsense. And a waste of my time.

I'm not saying I won't sometimes get mad. I'm not claiming to be some unshakable stoic type; I'm only human. But, from an entirely rational perspective... Some people should just go f*** themselves. *Shrugs.*
