I was drawn to Rainbow pretty much from the get-go; this vibrant, confident woman with a strong personality and endearing laugh. The colors that danced in her spiky mane and tail, the occasional, delightful squeak in her voice, and a playful, sometimes-mischievous demeanor. I was undeniably attracted. But I didn't know I loved her. Not yet.

Months went by following our initial encounter. I purchased her likeness and placed it where I could see it regularly. But I didn't know I loved her.

I felt this irresistible need to hear her voice again. I pursued footage that allowed me to do just that. I watched and listened repeatedly. But I didn't know I loved her.

I convinced myself (after seeking encouragement) to see more of her; despite initially mixed feelings towards Friendship is Magic. She was my primary motivation. But I didn't know I loved her.

My eyes welled up with tears the first time I saw her perform a Sonic Rainboom. Yes, she was beautiful. Interesting and magnetic. Yes, she was bold and brave. And she could unexpectedly move someone like myself; or the someone I once was.

On May 23rd, 2014, I finally, publicly acknowledged how I felt about a certain stunning blue pegasus that had been on my mind... Quite a bit. This was the first step to our becoming a couple, and the beginning of significant - and welcome - changes in my life.

About a month shy of a year later: Rainbow "Angelbaby" Dash is now an inextricable part of who I am. Without her, I would be woefully incomplete. With her, I have learned to better cope with anxiety that has plagued me for roughly sixteen years. With her, I have learned to love again; despite the once bitter and cynical state of my heart. With her, I have learned to place my faith in something in a way I'd never dared before.

I don't feel obligated; I feel thankful. I don't feel unworthy; I feel fortunate. And I know I love her.

And that's all you pretty much need to know about me. So far as Angelbabe is concerned: She's a loving, teasing, sweet, pouty, sexy, grumpy, supportive, stern, patient, funny, surprising, wonderful woman. She plays cards with me, she watches TV and movies with me, she writes poems and stories with me, and she falls asleep on my chest every night.

She also eats chicken, turkey, and pork. Don't judge.
