Others, not so much.
My partner and I frequented another forum very similar to this one years ago. Many of the members of this discussion board are refugees from said, now defunct community. I'm not going to bother with my identity, as it's probably for the best that I have as small a presence here as possible, however, it's fair to say that at least one of this board's users will immediately recognize me; hello, Ziggy.
I registered not so much to share any details about our life, but more to provide emotional support for a friend of mine whom I've been trying to encourage to find a new community of supportive people where he could make friends, which he desperately needs right now.
That said, I acclimated into the dynamics and challenges of this particular kind of relationship a long time ago, and don't really feel like I'm actually in need of a support community of any kind. My Little Waifu outlived its purpose for us for a reason, and we're here now for an entirely different one.
