S6E23 Where the Apple Lies
I'm really "eh" on this one. Not really great, but hey at least Filthy Rich is a nice character. Honestly, I don't like the whole "lie avalanche" type of story where it just continues to snowball, solely because we've already seen it 1,000 times. There's nothing else to do really. It just goes back to feeling worn out, that's all, and I don't think this episode contributed anything new or good in that regard.

In my opinion I think this was probably the best of the map episodes. I thought the dynamic between Rainbow Dash and Twilight was best here, and I felt like they at least didn't completely feel like they did two entirely separate things. Compared to other episodes, like Spice Up Your Life for example. Which again, is a shame, that shouldn't have been as lousy as it was. This one I feel had a better instance of a friendship issue, and how it ended up getting resolved. All in all, this was a nice one.

S6E25 To Where and Back Part 1
Honestly I think this one starts to bring a bit of a satisfying conclusion to what's been a bit of Starlight's character arc through the season. I do have to say though, I still really don't like the changelings, I think they're a bit much for something like MLP. But I feel the character dynamics that come of this are good. Of course I've said a lot about the Mane 5 being damsels in distress in general, and this isn't anything new there, but there's not a lot that can be done here. All in all, I think the first part is good at least.

S6E26 To Where and Back Again Part 2
Well, I'd be lying if I said this didn't bother me a little on some level. The whole damsel in distress thing. But I guess I'm not bothered by it as much so to say, more so just numb and used to it, and I carry on. That's all. And I just hope this doesn't happen again, because needless to say, sometimes this stuff really does make me feel like Rarity isn't important to the writers. Anyway, on to the episode itself, I do think the group dynamic is good. Probably one of the better Discord dynamics. I feel like this also has Haber's signature problem of being a bit rushed, as I felt like the initial redemption of all the changelings was a bit jarring since it did seem to spring from nowhere despite what happened with Thorax, but I at least felt things eased into it a bit with S7 so that was good. And I can just say good riddance to Queen Chrysalis, but that's probably unlikely.
So now I sit here at the end of S6, and I definitely have to say, I think this season was a bit disappointing in a lot of areas. There were good episodes for sure, No Second Prances, Hearthswarming, but I don't feel a lot really stood out to me aside from what I was disappointed with. Do I think this is proof that the show is dying or something? No. But I do think this can directly be attributed to the movie, and I think a lot of the talent was working harder on that, and it shows with S6 in a few areas, especially with the latter half. So if anything, I think that's what happened. My hope for S7? I hope the finale allows the M5 to take action for once. I do still really feel like they haven't been done well, but it's really just forgotten about, and seeing this one did remind me a bit of that.

S7E1 Celestial Advice
I got to say, I'm still a little nagged by the fact that Rarity is the only M6 pony to not get a line in this one. And of course this does kind of cycle back to that lousy feeling that the M5 are not important. Fortunately that changes with the next episode. On top of that, it's hard to really fault that as this is a continuation of the previous finale, and I feel as if it was instead another "threat to Equestria" it would have been much worse. So because of that, despite that one nagging thing, I actually really like this one. It's so much better to start the season on a much calmer note, that doesn't feel like anything is forced, and actually rather neatly ties up from the season before. So actually I really like that bit. All in all this is definitely one of the better premiers in the show.

S7E2 All Bottled Up
Personally, this is my favorite Starlight episode, as I feel it gives the best insight in her from my perspective as to where she stands now. And I like that. I also feel it is very good in the sense that it is extremely relatable. Everyone seems to have that friend like Trixie at one point or another, and sometimes you just don't know what to do. I'm also incredibly thankful the Mane 6 got a good role, that was important to me after the past few episodes, and the song was good. All in all, this was great and I feel like this was a positive sign to me about the direction of S7 compared to S6.

S7E3 A Flurry of Emotions
I'd say this was maybe a bit of a better episode for the baby, considering the only other one is Crystalling, and wow is that a lousy one. I do say though I don't quite like the overpowered baby stuff, but I mean that goes back to Baby Cakes. It's just unnecessary shenanigans. Twilight also seemed just a little bit irresponsible in this one compared how she usually is, so I don't know. I felt it was entertaining at least, and another good start to the season at least.

S7E4 Rock Solid Friendship
I thought this one was alright, even though I have to be honest I am slightly irritated the way Rarity was used as a punchline to what honestly was a joke at her expense. She may not be a rock expert, but she is a gem expert, she knows exactly what she needs to and has spells for finding them, they're on her but for Celestia's sake. Whatever. And my other gripe was I feel like there should have been an extra scene repairing Pinkie and Glimmer together after the last scene they had was them both being really hurt. That was necessary to show a fix I feel. Aside from that I find the episode to be alright, and decent overall on Maud and Starlight.

S7E5 Fluttershy Leans In
If anything, I have a certain appreciation for this episode solely on the fact that it very easily could have been very bad and hurtful to the Mane 6, but the writer put in enough thought to use throwaway dummies to do the damage rather than harmfully just using the Mane 6 in those roles. Aside from giving credit for that, I felt as if the episode was average.

S7E6 Forever Filly
Or as I like to call it, The Adventures of Rarity and the Worst Sister Ever. What I wouldn't give to spend that kind of day with Rarity, it looks like the best! Seriously though I think this a really good episode, as it shows a good marking point for the growing CMC, as well as I think was very good on Rarity and Sweetie's relationship as sisters, a very good step up from how they were in Sisterhooves Social, and I feel it shows a lot of good development. I think this is my personal favorite of S7 so far.
