MLP 2017 Movie Thread (Spoilers Inside)

I've been making quite a few threads recently. Anyway I think this thread should also be careful with spoilers, so I'd say just be mindful of that. Normally I don't care for spoilers, but as this is something that might be a bit important to me, I think I should try to avoid main details at least. How do you feel?

Anyway today gave us a lot of new character reveals and names, as well as the actors playing them. Hidden below are the new reveals.

What's your opinion on these? As for me:

I was originally very concerned about the Mane 5 being pushed out of the movie pretty much by all the new characters and it just focuses on Twilight and the new ones, especially special celebrity VAs. Honestly I still kind of have that fear. But I think most of it might be okay, since most of the characters revealed are either non pony, royalty, or appear to be villains, so it seems difficult to imagine them being the kinds of roles that replace the Mane 5. Perhaps they tour through several different lands and encounter these non ponies, royalty characters while pursuing the villains? That's the best I'll hope for and hopefully it stays like that.

I was honestly giving the others mostly passes, but I think this definitely seems a bit odd to me.

I think I see some of the G1 elements, but at the same time I wish they showed more pony civilizations instead. Seaponies are great in my book, but why not the ponies from Saddle Arabia as well? I hope the next reveal is a pony.

Wait... so Storm King is literally Tirek? Like not just design, but the whole stealing magic thing? I mean maybe they're the same race, but that's a bit disappointing.

Same here. I have pretty good confidence still that the movie will be quite good considering it has people who've worked on big name animation projects in the past.

Despite sounding similar to the s4 finale I think this will have a lot more focus on all of the m6.

I think the S4 finale did focus too much on Twilight, so hopefully the movie at least knows better than to not do that. Hopefully.
