As the darkness falls around me
I realize what I've done wrong
The error is all I can see
I pray that I don't take long

To fix what has happened between us
Rebuild the bridges I've burnt
I didn't mean to cause a fuss
I didn't mean for you to be hurt

I know I've said it many times
But I vow to change my ways
In fact, I want to suffer for my crimes
I see now that honesty pays

Though we may sleep in the same bed
We feels miles apart
I don't want our love to be dead
I can't lose my heart

So tonight I look at the man in the mirror
I dedicate myself to a change forever
We shall no longer love in fear
And our love shall grow better and better

I do this for you, my dear
Not for fear of any other
And as I draw you near
I pray that you remain my lover

I know you feel the same
So let's put this from our minds
Spare each other blame
So that our love may continue to bind.

We're both doing fine, it's just...sometimes Candy doesn't speak up when I do things that bother her, because she doesn't want me to feel bad. I found out about two months ago that one of my bad habits that I frequently fall into has really been bugging her lately but she hadn't said anything. So, I wrote that because I'm having some issues kicking the habit, and I want her to know that I'm dedicated to getting the issue resolved.
