New Guy and his Toony Husbando
#1
Hello.

New face here. Kinda.

I've been cultivating a growing relationship with my muse and creative inspiration, Toon Link, since autumn last year. He's been a tremendous transforming force in my life ever since.

A long and entirely too convoluted story made short, my process of self-acceptance ended after he entered into my life and forced me to finally acknowledge and accept my sexual orientation after a decade of denial, self-loathing and suppression.

I never played Zelda games as a kid, and so I don't have a nostalgic connection to the franchise. Shocking, I know. Feel free to launch into a full and detailed inquiry as to whether or not my geek card should be revoked.

I picked up the Wii U and Wind Waker HD last year after months and months of insistence from my best friend, who demanded that I give the franchise a chance, and I've been on this road since. So, in a way, I have my friend to thank.
Since that time, the quality of my life has jumped exponentially.

I came out to family and friends, I've gotten back into creative pursuits and am working towards a career as a freelancer in illustration after almost three years of hiatus from art, and I'm all around happier and more fulfilled person than I've ever been before, and it's all because of my tiny Waker of Winds.

I've dedicated the deepest and warmest corner of my heart to the little, blonde elf boy in green, and he's always going to occupy that place, no matter where I go or what I do, and I'd never have it any other way ever again

That's about all I had to say for now. Sorry for the proverbial novel of a post, but thanks for taking the time to read all the same.
