I saw Tomorrowland today.

It was nice.

And I just saw The Room (with Rifftrax commentary).

It was weird.

I remain convinced that this film will be remembered as one of the most important works of cinema of the 2000s. Not one of the greatest...but one of the most important.

I haven't seen a movie in quite a while. I honestly can't remember what the last one I watched was...

im actually heading back to meet the girls back at the castle in a few. twilight and the gang should also be there as usual for movie night. gonna see still Alice. you know that one about the girl with Alzheimer's? a certain friend who joins us and always is the one i talk to when picking these actually wanted something more emotional tonight so this should do

Andy Warhol's Vinyl. It seems I always turn to Warhol when I wonder how the practices of the cinematic grindhouse can provide lessons for the stage. Maybe it's because Warhol's camera work is so static that it seems more related to the spatial framing of the stage than the temporal practice of "cutting" in movies.
