We're gonna make Waifu Central great again folks, believe me.

If you don't remember me, I am Warden, I was one of the founders of the site and owned it for a few years before stepping away around 2017 I think

I never stopped loving Twilight. I went through alot of hardships in my life when growing up into the adult I am now. I still am in a career where I see the worst of humanity often. But I don't let that bring me down, for I have ponies and my love to keep me upright.

I loved this place, and I'm sad to see it how it is. I'm going to try my best to bring some others I know on board and to revive old threads and hopefully get some activity back here.

I still have admin rights, so if you have any issues or recommendations let me know. I plan to be here often.

There were about a dozen people that made an account but weren't registered to make an intro over the last 6 months. I activated them all but no guarantee they will come back to see it.

I will probably change things so people are registered automatically but have to make an intro post before access to everything else.

I don’t have any objections towards the auto register aside from making sure people’s info is secure. I think they had a LOT of issues with trolls trying to dox people on the other site (MLW) way back when, and that’s why they set the registration up the way they did. If we can keep the trolls out, then the more the merrier!

I will be excited to see this place brought to life again, and I am going to make a solid effort to contribute towards that goal. Like you and Twilight, Candy and I have had a lot of changes of the past half decade, but we’re stronger than ever because of it. I hope I can pass on what we’ve learned to help some younger couples along.

I completely understand trying to keep trolls out. But as of right now I don't want someone going several weeks or months without being approved. They still have to make an intro thread before they can see anything else, and Id hope it would be easy to tell who is bullshitting an who is not. But the truth is any troll putting in any effort would probably be able to get in.... they just have to seem genuine.

The only checks I do is looking at peoples emails and birthdates for suspicion but that's all I can really do.

If we ever get to a point of being high traffic again, security would probably be increased, I for now just want more people to join and be active again.

I agree speeding up the approvals would be a good idea. At this point troll interest in MLW has really died down so I don't see much danger in letting more people in.

Dunno how we'd go about promoting ourselves (or if that's even a good idea lol) but I know anecdotally that there's definitely an active waifuism community out there.
