It's very different from the other Zelda games I've played, so it's taking some getting used to. The sci-fi aspects are really surprising to see, but definitely welcome. It's almost like Hyrule took a few notes from TRON. Lol. Also, some puzzles remind me of Portal, especially the Shrine Trials.

Just made it to Kakariko Village. Pretty entertaining game so far.

What are the other Zelda games you've played?

Neither do I. I'm glad to hear I can play the game like a civilized gamer instead of having to shake and wobble like some savage heathen.

We're really, really digging this game. We made it to Zora's Domain, and we've mostly cleared the first "dungeon." However, when we got to the boss at the end, we got mercilessly wrecked again and again and again. Lol. So, we decided to leave it until we have better armor and weapons. Yesterday, we spent most of our game time exploring Hyrule and activating Towers that allowed us to acquire maps for the surrounding area. We also found our first horse yesterday, and it's made traveling significantly faster (traveling on foot is a nightmare in this game).

-- The soundtrack is very very minimal in this game, which is odd for a Zelda game. When you're out exploring Hyrule, there's no soundtrack at all unless you find an enemy. It's quiet...too quiet. Kinda gives the game an unsettling, dark feel at times IMO.

-- The sci-fi elements are still really cool, but at first they were pretty jarring. Robots and lasers and terminals in a Zelda game? It didn't seem to go together well at first. But still...it makes for a very interesting game. Lol.

Thanks for the information. Can you name the horse? Is there a fast travel system like the ocarina songs in OOT? Robots and lasers have been in Zelda games since 1986! Well, the lasers have, and plenty of the baddies could seem robotic if you squint hard enough. Maybe they decided to take a page out of Final fantasy this time around?

Not too many, really. Just...

1. Twilight Princess (my personal favorite so far)

2. Ocarina of Time

3. A Link Between Worlds

4. The original NES game

No Link to the Past, or Link's Awakening? The former you really should try! It's easy enough to emulate, and is one of the best SNES games ever made.

Nier: Automata is so good. Dare I say, best game I've ever played? Granted I'm no video game expert nor do I play all that many games, but god damn this game is amazing. The characters are intriguing, the gameplay is satisfying, the environment is immersive, the boss fights are incredible, and holy hell the music. The music in this game is fantastic, and just consists of so many things all over the place that make it extremely pleasant to listen to.

I've beaten the game for the first time today, and the way the game works is you need to beat the game a certain number of times to unlock new elements and discover truths about the story that was hidden beforehand. And each ending to the game is drastically different than the previous one. Really, this game is great. Play it.

I recently started playing Mass Effect: Andromeda, and I can very fairly is a waste of money and is not worth anyone's time. In fact I have already been approved to return it and I will be receiving a full refund soon fortunately, as it was one of the worst games I've ever played just by the first few levels. Again, as I haven't played that many games, it's not quite abysmal as others, but it is by no means worth money. At all. And this is really disappointing for me, as I was really looking forward to this game. The animation is abysmal, looking like the first game from 2007. Not only that, but I've already noticed several glitches. From thumbs going through people's faces, to rain on the inside of helmets. The gameplay is clunky especially with the camera in combat, it makes it difficult to be aware of fire in combat. The setup of things is painfully disorganized, and rather unclear, and the game doesn't do a good job telling you how to handle things. And the game forces you to play freaking sudoku. Really. Oh and character customization has taken a huge step back, and what I found lousy was you can't even make a white female character. Really. They leave out the lightest skin tone for characters that others have in game, including the male character. Unless you play as the default, that is. Despite taking 5 years to make, it's clear this game was rushed. This is unacceptable.

Thank goodness for Nier: Automata. I finished the game for the second time today, and reached the second ending, and holy heck does it get even better. This game is incredible, and blows me away at ever turn. You want a new game, play this. It's incredible.

I finished Nier: Automata. Finished it completely I mean. Wow, that games was amazing. definitely the best game I've played. The story was amazing, wow. And it was worth it with all the twists and turns. Other games should take an example from this. The ending I was very satisfied with what I got, especially with a certain aspect of it, which made it feel like I closed a book.

I am extremely happy with this game, and would recommend it to everyone, probably the best game I've played.

Twilight and I plan to go through the Portal series together pretty soon. Should be pretty fun.

Other than that, we've played a little bit of Destiny together. There's a direct reference to Twilight in the game, in the form of an armor color shader called Sparklepony. And of course, it changes your armor colors to Twilight's color scheme.

Coincidence? I think not! Haha.

Oh wow, I didn't know that was a thing, that's really cool!

Typically in any game I find myself always giving myself a Rarity color scheme one way or the other. White, purple and blue all the way!

I've heard lots of good things about this game, but this part:

has got to be one of the better endorsements.
