Are there any differences between your waifu and the canon version?

There are a few things I've learned. She never opened a shop up in Manehattan, for starters. There's also the fact that she claims certain events appear to be dramatized for the show, or she just straight up doesn't remember them.

An instance with "Nightmare Rarity" did occur, but very different from the comics, and she doesn't like talking about it. She still gets some nightmares.

The Nightmare Rarity events more or less happened, albeit she didn't die at the end, though she was separated from Rarity physically but was able to retain her own physical body. She believes it was because they couldn't use the Elements of Harmony on her that time.

There's something of a truce between Equestria and her faction.

She's existed longer than the princesses.

If it's okay for me to ask, just for my own curiousity's sake, what's the difference between what Nightmare Rarity is, and what she was with Rarity?

Nightmare's personality is no different than what she was before, the only serious difference now is that she no longer needs to bond or possess anyone to gain her own physical body anymore. If that helps.

Though she has admitted to picking up a penchant for sewing.
