Itachi is best shinobi btw
I've never watched much of anything Naruto, really. Naruto, himself, always kind of bugged me, but I've heard - from a friend - that Shippuden was actually pretty good.

The only anime series I've been able to enjoy (or at least tolerate) for a billion seasons is DBZ.

Here's a good thread to resurrect

So this past week I got to watch 2 anime; One Punch Man and Modoka Magic

The first all I have to say is it was super fun. Great combination of being pretty silly and yet at the same time having some pretty good action. I just love Saitamas whole approach to being a hero, lol. really looking forward to season 2 whenever that comes out.

Modoka was also an excellent show but far more serious. Really though I think this another good show you can knock out in an afternoon and seems like it would be super rewatchable. At some point I want to go back and see what all I missed on my first go

Well, in total so far I've finished at least twelve different anime related series and movies. Not bad for a newbie, I suppose.

Yeah, the more I think about it, the movie really is bothering me a lot more than I remember. I really think I just completely blocked out the ending from my memory. Especially since right up until that bit, it was actually really enjoyable, and could have just ended at that one point instead of going on.

I need to watch more series now too.

Finished rewatching Kaiji the other day. That's a really good one in my book, good style, music, atmosphere, really recommend that one. It can make anything super intense.

See, I would check it out, and somehow you're going to link me a website that has it, so bring it on, Rares.

...

Until then, for those who want a good laugh and want to kill five minutes or so, I recommend this.

"Yoshiko Hanabatake is an idiot beyond all belief. Somehow managing to consistently score zeroes on all of her tests and consumed by an absurd obsession with bananas, her senseless acts have caused even her own mother to lose all hope. Only one person is up to the task of keeping her insanity in check: childhood friend Akuru "A-kun" Akutsu.

Though he bemoans the ridiculous behavior he has to endure, the studious but terrifying A-kun is always ready to put an end to any stupidity Yoshiko gets up to, with no qualms about using physical force. Unfortunately, no matter how many times he attempts to knock some sense into her, the girl bounces right back to her usual shenanigans, even dragging in some other eccentrics along for the ride. Try as he might to rein in her nonsense, every moment is unpredictable with Yoshiko and her profound idiocy on the loose."

Oh man I have just been tearing through stuff since the last I posted something here.

So yeah I also watched Kaiji and that was really great. The whole thing just keeps you on the edge of your seat through the whole series. It really never has a boring or dull moment. Zawa

Another was WataMote which is a fun little series about an extremely socially awkward high school girl. Like i felt the whole thing was pretty funny while still keeping the main character, Tomoko, very relatable.

Lastly was Akame Ga Kill. this one's been on my list for quite some time and I finally was able to get through it this weekend. Overall I found it very enjoyable but i will say this series seemed to try and be the most.. anime series it could be.
In addition I've been working on Attack On Titan after years of avoiding it just so I can say "I've seen it". I think I already know what i'm going to say about it, but I'll wait until I'm done to give a final judgement.

I think the AgK anime adaptation suffered largely due to the fact that the manga series hadn't been finished yet which resulted in them pretty much making up their own ending...which a lot of fans didn't like.

Oh boy. If you ever decide to get to season 2, let me know. I've put that off for a while. Let me know what you think, I have such feelings for that series, and they ain't too happy like they used to be.

Really? Wow, that explains a lot. Suddenly a lot makes sense. At what point did the anime deviate from the source material, the last few episodes?

All of Kaiji season 1 is on YouTube. If this gets you hooked, I'll give you Season 2.

And here's the link for episode 1 of Jojo
