What have you been playing recently?

I've been playing Injustice 2 quite a bit recently. My initial reaction is positive, I like the cast of characters, though maybe I'm just biased because my favorite comic book villain is playable, even if he just reuses the Flash's moveset

Seriously, people underestimate how cool a villain he is all the time, he extends far beyond a dude that just runs fast, his shenanigans are awesome.

I've recently been playing through all of the Call of Duty campaigns, since I had only played BO1, BO3, Infinite Warfare and MW3's

I finished MW1 about 3 days ago, finished MW2 yesterday. Working on MW3 right now.
I dunno if I really like Infinity Ward's story telling if I'm honest. I'm just completely lost and don't really know what's going on. I couldn't really follow IW either.

So far I think BO3's campaign is the best, it's just so different and creative. If you have the game and you haven't played it yet, I would highly recommend it. You really need to play it alone to be able to really appreciate it though, it's somewhat convoluted.

I recently got Final Fantasy VII just to try it since so much is said about it. It's cool for a dystopian futuristic RPG, but I tried looking up some of the story in it (since it feels like I had all the major stuff spoiled anyway) and I can't seem to wrap my head around it at all. Nice character designs though.

I recently got Undertale for my PS4, so I've been replaying that recently while I wait for the new South Park game to come in the mail tomorrow.

It has a lousy fandom, but if you ever get the chance, I highly recommend playing Undertale, it has a great story, fun gameplay elements, and fabulous music. It's really worth your time.

Why?

Because I like the game and I like my PS4, and I felt like getting a physical edition of it for it.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole was really good. In a lot of ways, better than the first. More entertaining gameplay, especially with the grid movement system, the superhero concept was more fun, I felt it was more customizable, all around more fun. I will say as a negative, I think the menu system received a downgrade as open quests became rather unclear, and that was a bit disappointing. I think the "Facebook" layout from the previous game was much better. That being said, I really think this one had a lot more going for it, even if it lacked a lot of the shock humor that the first one had. No, there's no boss battle against Kim Kardashian's aborted nazi zombie baby. But the boss battles in this game are definitely a blast, especially the really funny title cards prior to them.

I would love to see another game, but I don't know how likely that would be. Well at least for the time being I can replay Stick of Truth as it came for free with getting Fractured But Whole.

I do highly recommend the game, it was such a fun play.

Just restarted Darkest Dungeon and I had to call my estate Canterlot for all the creepy things hidden underneath XD
Also a lot of Civ V, some Rocket League, and (I know it's not a verdio garme) I started a Pathfinder campaign with some friends a couple of weeks ago.

Just over the weekend I finished a game called "Doki Doki Literature Club". I cannot recommend it enough, and I think it's a game that most people here would find relatable in some way or another, but I can't go into too much because I think it's best to play this game as blindly as possible.

It's not a long game, and is 100% free, so there's no reason not to check it out.

I can tell you guys this much. The game starts out very generic and plays that way for the first hour, but that's intentional. It picks up very quickly after a certain scene. You'll know when.

If spooky games aren't typically your thing, I can say this much: There are no jump scares. And the game really pays off.

I really can't recommend it enough, I think everyone here will find certain tidbits... interesting to say the least.

What made Rares play this game? Also, your thoughts on this game that you played close to two months ago?
