Do you currently watch pony?

Seems like there is a big split on things here, do you currently watch My Little Pony? If not, when did you stop, and for what reason? How often do you watch the show? What does it mean to you?

The show is the only sure I make sure to watch each and every episode the day it airs. I just love the show, and I always look forward to see what those wacky ponies will get up to next.

Also I love seeing Maud in the show, each time she's onscreen it makes me very happy.

We still watch the older episodes. Frankly, the way the writers have been behaving, newer ones are becoming less and less enjoyable. That's a bit of a paradox, since I'll readily admit there have been some good episodes in the last 2 seasons, but it's pulling further and further away from that magical Once Upon A Time, feeling, and the wonder and hope that first drew me to MLP. We still enjoy watching the older episodes, but the newer ones feel almost like a chore.

We are also tentatively starting on the new EQG series. I'm trying to give it a chance, and while there are some good episodes, Hasbro is committing the cardinal sin of officially shipping main cast members. Timber belongs in a North Korean labor camp, not running all over hitting on high school girls, especially not that one. She's a different Twi, yes, but the resemblance is close enough to put me off, and he's such a Chadtastic creep besides. She deserves better, and just as I don't force us to read bad fanfics, I won't force us to watch bad animated fanfiction, either.

I was into MLP during season 4 . The reason I into MLP start from seeing fan animation on youtube . It was ace attorney and MLP crossover . Because I also a ace attorney player and crossover lover , watching it should be fun .

In that video , there are unbelievable bright side . Even in despair situations, in the end everypony had been saved . That unbelievable bright side deeply attract me . Like Undertale ... with the innocent you don't have to kill anyone . After watching the show , I recognize what true innocent is . Pony ... they are like angel or fairy . If the show lost such a innocent and friendship element . It will look like a cartoon show with a cute character like most anime are .

Indeed ...if you compare with start ... the show has changed a lot . But they are still have bright side element . Watching them can still get comfortable , feel like away from the real world . MLP is not perfect . But they are irreplaceable in my place . As long as innocent element still in there , I'll watch . About how often ... everytime I need good feeling , About once a week .... the other time are fan art ..animation...and fanfiction . Sometime get a bit lazy to watch because every episode need 20 minute free time .Surprised Derpy 1

It's something a lot of people put up with unfortunately. I can tell you first hand how awful it is too, what with everything they do with Spike and then that awful episode with Trenderhoof. I think I can say with the show, it's safe to say that fortunately they don't let things go too far. And I don't think anything will ever happen to Starlight, if I had to say so. And even still, heaven forbid something did, we'd all be here for you.

Agreeing with Gentian here. I think the writers have gotten a little lazy. I'd complain about how basic the lessons are, but it's always been that way. The difference was it used to be handled well. Season 6 was honestly better, but it still suffered from the same meh handling of friendship lessons at times.

Criticism aside, I still watch the show. But I still gotta catch the season finale.

I dunno, I think the show is going fine. I always make sure to watch it when i can. It's not perfect obviously, but it never has been. I honestly like the direction that the show has seemed to taken this season though, and I'm quite excited to see where it will go next season.
